ABOUT US
ABOUT US
New Life Covenant Church is a welcoming, non-denominational community, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We believe the same Spirit-led word that began in the New Testament church in the book of Acts continues today, transforming lives and advancing God's kingdom through His power and presence.
WHO WE ARE
OUR MISSION
Together, we are a community of believers. What does "community" mean? It’s more than just gathering—it’s about growing closer to God and one another through meaningful connection. The Bible reminds us that iron sharpens iron, and we believe that as we walk together in faith, we become stronger. This is who we are—a community of believers, growing and thriving together.
OUR VISION
We are called to be a church without walls. Jesus sends us beyond the building to reach the lost and the broken, knowing that’s where lives are transformed. At New Life Covenant Church, we are committed to following the model of the church in the book of Acts, believing that through His power, we will see our city changed.
OUR VALUES
We deeply value our relationships with one another, seeking to grow through fellowship and draw closer to God. We are anchored in the Word of God and guided by the leadership of the Holy Spirit. With hearts full of grace, we reach out to the lost and broken, leading them to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
WE ARE HERE!
TO MAKE FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWERS
OF JESUS.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the foundation of our faith—a God-inspired revelation that expresses His will and purpose. It is without error and provides truth to guide our lives.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Peter 1:23-25, Hebrews 4:12)
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully embodying the nature and attributes of God. This divine relationship is known as the Trinity.
(Matthew 28:19, John 1:1 & 14, Matthew 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life and sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay for humanity’s sins. Through His death and resurrection, He offers eternal life to those who place their faith in Him. Jesus now lives as our mediator, drawing believers into a personal relationship with God.
(2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:13, Romans 10:9-13, John 3:16, Romans 9:33, Colossians 1:13, Galatians 2:20, John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:34)
The Holy Spirit draws people to Christ and equips believers for growth and service. He empowers the Church to fulfill its mission in the world, leading us in truth and transforming our lives.
(John 16:8, Matthew 9:38, John 14:16-17, 14:26-27, 16:13, Acts 1:8)
We were created for a close relationship with God, but sin separated us from Him. Salvation is not earned by human effort but received through God’s grace. Each person must choose to accept this gift by faith to experience new life in Christ.
(Genesis 1:26-31, Romans 5:8, 3:23, 6:23, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 1:13, 2:8)
The Church is the Body of Christ. The Church’s role is to glorify God by continuing to do the will of God in this world.
(I Cor. 12:12, 18, 27, Rom. 12:4, Eph. 1:22-23, 5:30)
The Church is the Body of Christ, called to glorify God and carry out His will on earth. As His hands and feet, we are commissioned to love and serve others, advancing God’s kingdom together.
(1 Corinthians 12:12, 18, 27, Romans 12:4, Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:30)
In the end, every person will experience bodily resurrection and face judgment. Those who place their faith in Christ will live forever in fellowship with God.
(Matthew 25:32-46, 7:21-23, Revelation 19:20, 20:10-15, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
OUR LEADERSHIP
TIM & TIFFANY FRUITS
SENIOR PASTORS
Tim Fruits grew up in Warrenton, Missouri where he was saved at a Clyde Dupin crusade in 1988. Following an encounter with God at the age of twenty, Tim moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible School. While studying at Rhema he also completed an internship at Guts Church where he served in the youth, college and media ministries. It was at Guts Church where Tim met his wife, Tiffany Tabor.
Tiffany was raised in Wichita, KS and is the daughter of Pastor Kit and Vicki Tabor, who founded New Life Covenant Church when she was 16 years old.
After attending Trinity Academy for high school Tiffany moved to Tulsa, OK to attend Oral Roberts University. In 2003 Tiffany began working at Guts Church where she helped direct the youth ministry staff, event staff, internship staff, as well as serving as the Senior Pastor’s assistant.
In 2014 they felt led to move to Wichita, KS to support Pastor Kit and Vicki at New Life Covenant Church. The church was growing both in size and vision and in 2015, Pastor Kit asked Tim to join the New Life Staff as the Associate Pastor. Tim and Tiffany supported Pastor Kit and Vicki and the growing NLCC family by furthering the vision. In 2018 the church continued to grow, as did the staff, so Pastor Tim was promoted to the Executive Pastor role to assist Pastor Kit in leading the church staff. In 2021 Pastor Tim & Tiffany were selected by the Elders and approved unanimously by the congregation to serve as Senior Pastors at New Life Covenant Church.
Serving in the church is a lifelong calling on Tim and Tiffany’s life. As parents to two children (Gracelynn and Tabor) they have a passion to involve their whole family in the purpose of kingdom building through the local church.
OUR FOUNDING PASTORS
Kit Tabor, along with his wife Vicki Tabor, founded New Life Covenant Church in 1996 and, for 24 years, reached countless individuals and families through the word he shared and the life he lived. He gave his life to Luke 4:18: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” And that is exactly what he did. In October 2020, he transitioned to spend eternity with Jesus.
He charged the New Life Family with this call in his final sermon:
RISE UP, OH ARMY OF THE LORD. YOUR MARCHING ORDERS HAVE BEEN GIVEN.
RISE UP, INTERCESSORS, EVANGELISTS, PROPHETS, APOSTLES, PASTORS, GIVERS, SERVANTS, SAINTS OF THE LORD.
IT IS TIME NOW FOR THE LIGHTS TO UNITE AND TO SHINE BRIGHTLY THE GLORY OF THE LORD.
